About the Author(s)

Prof Vibhuti Patel is the Visiting Distinguished Professor at IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi. She is currently Vice President of the Indian Association for Women’s Studies and a former professor at Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

Adv Dr Shalu Nigam is the Visiting Senior Fellow at IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi. She is currently practising at the courts of Delhi and is associated with the human rights and women’s rights movements in India.

Dr Simi Mehta is the CEO and Editorial Director of IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute. She holds a PhD in American Studies from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and was a Fulbright Nehru Doctoral Research Fellow at Ohio State University, USA.

Bhanvi is the Visiting Researcher and Assistant Editor at IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi.
