About the Book

The Center for Habitat, Urban, and Regional Studies (CHURS) at IMPRI started the city conversation series in 2019 to deliberate on some of the overreaching issues discussed earlier and contribute to the process of informed policymaking. The State of Cities: A Compendium of Deliberations – City Conversations 2020-21 is the product of renowned urban experts from different countries who have shared their ideas on the processes of demographic, environmental, economic, political, and social changes in the cities and how to manage them in a series of deliberations at our IMPRI #WebPolicyTalk.
